Seagate has releases a super thin hard drive for notebooks and netbooks. The Momentus Thin as it is called is a 2.5 inch hard drive measuring just 7mm in thickness. Average hard drives found in netbooks measure around 10mm in thickness. It is still unknown what capacities are available with the Momentus Thin series. But more information should emerge at CES 2010.
